1st May 2014 // Team Ireland out in force this weekend

Team Ireland will be out in force this weekend in Navarra, Spain. After their successful opening round last weekend in Portimao, Portugal Eoin Murray and Niki Meredith are looking to build on their solid results and add some more wins to the tally.

This weekend see the return to racing from one of Ireland's top racing drivers, Michael Devaney. It's been 5 years since Michael last raced a car, but the chance to represent Ireland again was something he couldn't turn down. He had this to say "It's good to be back in a race car after 5 years since I last raced back in F3 and A1GP. It will be my first time in a pick-up truck but I've heard great things about these cars and can't wait to get in one at Navarra and hopefully we will be on the pace by the end of the weekend".

Michael will join Eoin on the MW-V6 Pickup grid, while Niki will be back out in the Legends Supercup. All 3 drivers will have 2 free practice sessions on Friday to get to grips with the Northern Spain track, with the Pickups having one qualifying session on Friday evening. Saturday and Sunday will see the Pickups compete in 1 further qualifying session and 3 races, while the Legends will have the usual 2 races each day.
