This weekend Eoin gave a healthy boost to his Championship standings with two 2nd places at rounds 11 & 12 of the Elf Clio UK Cup at Donnington Park this weekend.

Driving for the Xcel Motorsport team the Holfeld F1 backed driver has taken a major step forward with consistent performances to put him fourth in the Championship, on dropped rounds.

Performing in front of an estimated 24,000 crowd on Sunday for round 12 Eoin led for a long period in the race before being overtaken by championship leader Danny Buxton. Although battling hard both drivers pulled away from the rest of the field and were clear by a considerable margin at the end.

‘’ I’m very happy with the weekend two 2nd place finishes, up to fourth in the championship, after a difficult start to the season and I matched Danny Buxton’s best time to within a tenth. All told, I am happy and in confident mood for the rest of the season.’’
